The Toddler Program
Ages 15 months to 3 yearsIn our Toddler communities, young children find a peaceful, nurturing environment designed to feed their “absorbent minds.” Through real-world activities, toddlers build a strong foundation of independence, confidence, and language development.
Exercises of practical life (including food prep and toileting), sensorial exploration, and speech development.
Spaces fill quickly, particularly for our youngest group. We strongly recommend applying one year in advance.
The Primary Level
Ages 3 to 6 yearsThe Primary Level—comprising the first two Primary years and the crucial capstone Kindergarten year—introduces children to a vibrant, multi-age community. Here, children transition from concrete hands-on materials to deep, abstract understandings of the world around them.
Language and early literacy, a concrete foundation in mathematics, cultural studies (geography, botany, zoology), and daily indoor/outdoor work cycles.
Graduating students who read, write in cursive, understand mathematical operations, and possess an exceptional sense of self-mastery.
Optional Summer Camp
Ages 15 months to 6 yearsWhile our standard tuition covers the school year (September through June), we offer an optional summer camp program for enrolled students to bridge the break in care.
Designed to be relaxed and low-key, camp emphasizes extra outdoor time, play, and community connection. Operating similarly to our Cedar Care / Extended Care programs, children enjoy a Montessori-inspired environment where they can choose work and engage with materials at their own pace. Because our classroom Guides are off for the summer, camp is led by our wonderful support staff and assistants, so traditional formal lessons are not given during these summer sessions.
Garden and outdoor play, water work, art, and favorite practical-life materials — keeping the Montessori rhythm alive through summer.
Final dates, offerings, and rates are announced each spring. Enrollment is open to visiting families and subject to availability.
